Hillary Clinton is on day two of her book tour for her campaign memoir “What Happened,” and today she appeared on The View where she was asked about the White House Press Secretary making snide remarks about her book yesterday.
When Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about the book, she said, “I think it’s sad that after Hillary Clinton ran one of the most negative campaigns in history and lost, and the last chapter of her public life is going to be defined by propping up book sales with false and reckless attacks.”
The View co-host Sunny Hostin brought up that quote to Clinton this morning, and the former Democratic nominee said in response, “I honestly don’t pay much attention to what she says.”
Clinton went on to lament the “alternative facts” coming out of the administration, and stating that both sides of the aisle must be able to debate, and know the true facts coming from the White House.
